Today Bernie started working on the front lawn and Mar did the laundry. We spent the afternoon helping out around the house and baby sitting the children.
Later in the day we noticed the stuff in our fridge was warm. The fridge was not working, probably because the driveway where we are parked is not level.
We went to Lowe's (about 2 minutes away) and to Walmart (about 10 minutes away) to look for leveling blocks but didn't find any.
We went back to the house and decided to park on the street right in front of the house, where it is more level. Lucky for us, we could still connect both the water and electric. The good news is our fridge is now working again.

have them cut some pressure treated 2x8's or 2x10's to 2 ft lengths and use them for leveling blocks. the fridge really needs to be level to work properly. can't believe you dont have wood boards for leveling. you must have been pretty lucky to find level parking all these months.
ReplyDeleteAs you guys move around, watch for the orange leveling blocks at WalMarts. We've used both the yellow from Camping World and the orange from WaqlMart. The yellow ones don't last long at all, the orange ones hold up much better.
