Chalk Walk

Today we got ready to leave. After packing everything up, including our new satellite dish, we hit the road. We didn’t get very far when Bernie remembered she forgot something so we had to turn around and go back.

We hit the road again and drove west about an hour and a half to Fort Wayne IN.

We went straight to downtown to the Three Rivers Festival. We got excellent parking and then walked down Main Street, which was closed to traffic, to see the Chalk Walk. www.trfonline.org

This is a competition hosted by the Museum of Art where dozens of people draw chalk masterpieces on the street. We really enjoyed looking at all the colors and creativity. www.fwmoa.org

Next we went to Walgreen's for some things we needed and found a place next door to park for the night under some nice, big shade trees. All that shade sure will be nice in the morning.
