For the road

Today Bernie got to ride a John Deere lawn mower for the first time. She was asked to mow the lawn and this is not your average lawn, it is probably close to an acre.

The next thing on the list was cleaning the pool. This was actually nice after mowing the lawn, but she found out that getting the leaves from the bottom of the pool was hard work.

Today Mar did the laundry while watching the Food Network, her favorite channel.

Then we found out that Gene and Julie were heading off to a campground for the night with all the kids and their grandson. They left us in charge of the house.

While fixing dinner, Bernie decided to prepare some meals for the road and packaged enough meals for about five days. Then she sat down to watch her favorite channel, HGTV, while Mar caught up on her reading.
